Introduction

The website offers a range of work samples demonstrating Matt Ankers as a contemporary current designer. As a graphic designer he offers a strong variety of skills and ideas that can be and are applied in the commercial industry. Being educated in Surrey and London Matt demonstrates a modern method of graphic design practise; exercising his passion for the visual language in a fascinating and stirring fashion.

Achievements and Experience
My most recent achievement and experience was the successful completion of my Masters at Chelsea College of Art and Design London. During time spent both in education as a current freelancing graphic designer, I have developed into a professional creative, one driven and inspired by beautiful successful design. I work with both printed and digital design; previous experiences include working on exhibition catalogues, information design, exhibition design/curation, screen-printing, book and web design. I am an exceptionally hard working young designer who thrives on responsibility and pressure.
My development has been supported by working with a wide range of creative professionals. These experiences contrast from involvement with Gallery Directors at a Contemporary Art Gallery to working with the creative team at Campbell Rowley in Bournemouth.
Through practicing design in Hampshire, Surrey and London I have developed into an accomplished ideas person, with a great eye for detail and aesthetic perfection.
I continuously aim and aspire to work to a high standard of creative quality. This can be recognised when I worked as a Junior Creative Director for the MA Graphic Design Show 2009 at Chelsea Millbank. This position involved creating the typographic identity and visual journey for the Show.
I have great experience in presenting designs and pitching ideas, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of the work undertaken. I am an innovative presenter of design and thoughts.

Being a thorough and conscientious practitioner, I am keen to learn and develop my career within the creative industry. I have the desire to work within a team that will offer me the greatest creative potential and responsibility.
I am an independent thinker with a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation for contemporary art and design and aspire to channel my understanding of design into the commercial world.
Being nationally and internationally networked, determined and organised I excel and thrive on responsibility, offering a repayment of faith that others have shown in me.
